Graduation isWednesday, May 20th, from 9:00-10:00 AM. Students will arrive during morning carpool, as usual, and leave with you after graduation ends. This is the last day of school for Kindergarten.
Students do not need a backpack or any other supplies with them that day. They will only need their hats (see below).
Guest family members are allowed to attend, please no strollers in the gym, smaller children on laps only.
ACS siblings will remain in their classrooms out of respect for their teacher.
Students are encouraged to make a hat that symbolizes what they want to be when they grow up, although this is not mandatory. It can be anything from a police officer hat, to a decorated graduation cap, to a strip of paper cut to fit their heads and decorated. Be as creative or as minimal as you would like.
Kindergartners do not need to wear a uniform to graduation, although if they choose to not wear a uniform, they must be in "nicer" clothes.
Please remember to bring your government-issued ID, so that you may obtain a security badge. All adults, 18 and over, must sign in and wear a security badge. We will begin letting families into the vestibule to sign in at 8:15 am, but then ask that you wait outside near the picnic tables until the doors open for seating. Lastly, please note, seating is limited when making your family's plans to attend.
