Volunteering
Parents and community members are encouraged to actively participate in their child’s education by fulfilling a volunteer commitment of 20 hours per family each school year. This commitment helps strengthen the school community, support teachers and staff, and enhance student experiences. Volunteers play a vital role by assisting in classrooms, organizing events, and supporting activities.
Whether contributing professional expertise, helping with school events, or dedicating just a little time, every effort makes a meaningful impact on students. To learn more about volunteer opportunities, check with your child's teacher or our Parent Teacher Organization. Your involvement helps make ACS a strong, supportive, and enriching place to learn and grow.
Track It Forward
We appreciate our ACS volunteers! Volunteer hours* are considered time served and money spent. For every $25 contributed toward special requests for the classroom or school, one hour of volunteer time will be credited. Please log your volunteer hours at www.trackitforward.com - you'll need to know your carpool number to enter the site.
If you have any questions about the volunteer commitment or documenting process, please email [email protected]. Thank you for your partnership in making ACS successful!
*Volunteer hours may not be counted when a good or a service is received in exchange for the donation of funds, i.e. paid parking spots, birthday marquee requests, paid dress of choice days, etc.
