One last way to say a huge THANK YOU to our amazing ACS staff
is to bring something in for the PTO breakfast on the last day
of school. If you can bring in a hot dish, juice, baked goods,
fruit, or any other breakfast item it would be greatly appreciated!

If you have uniforms your child has outgrown, that are in good
condition, consider selling them at the swap. You may keep the
proceeds, or donate them to PTO for computers and other improvements
for the school. The uniform swap will be held at S&S Sports
and Skates on Saturday, July 8th. S&S is located at 203 - 5th
Street in downtown Castle Rock. We will need help to supply tables,
and to coordinate the sale. The hours are 9-1. More information
on this event will be sent to you via E-mail.

We are still in need of one more person to co-chair Fundraising
with Kristen Bushlack. Kristen has tons of experience in
fundraising and is a huge asset to the Board. Please contact
Kate Fischer @ kate2.fischer@comcast.net if you are interested
in sharing this position with Kristen.

The PTO Board would really like your suggestions and ideas
for fundraisers for next year. Thank you to the parents
who were able to attend the last PTO General Meeting and
already presented some ideas. The new PTO Board will be
meeting over the summer to determine fundraisers for the
upcoming year. The goal is to notify the parents at registration
in August what the fundraisers will be for the year, to
allow parents to plan for the fundraisers they would like
to contribute to financially as well as participate in
by volunteering. Please email your ideas to Misty O’Leary

Thanks to all
who attended the last PTO General meeting and participated
in voting for officers for next year.

We would like to extend one final thank you to all the
students that came to this exciting fundraiser. Thank you
to the many volunteers that worked tirelessly all day.
Thank you to the parents and their support of this new
event. Thank you to the staff, teachers and student council
who helped every step of the way, to make this event run
smoothly. Thank you again to the sponsors and programs
that made the Expo such a unique experience. This fundraiser
raised approximately $7,900, and along with the Auction
Baskets, which were part of the Expo theme, the combined
fundraisers raised approximately $12,000. All expenses
for the Expo were covered by the generous contributions
of our sponsors.
Be looking for a survey for those that attended the Expo
this year. We would appreciate your feedback in an effort
to make the event even more fun next year!
