Look for more information coming in your Friday Folders about our exciting spring fundraiser. Remember, “Education Expo” will be our “big” fundraiser for the year, so the ACS/PTO needs your help and support. A “day camp” of discovery, for ACS students, will be a fun way to round out the school year. We will need volunteers for the event and we are still in need of committee chairs for the following:

  • Volunteer Coordinator
  • Food Committee
  • Basket Auction Committee
  • Setup/Cleanup

If you are interested in chairing, co-chairing or volunteering on a committee or volunteering in any capacity, please contact Misty O’Leary at 303-688-6631 or jimandmisty@comcast.net. Remember, help in any capacity goes toward the required 20 hours of parent volunteer time.

The ACS/PTO is looking for Corporate sponsors for our “Education Expo” and would like to extend an invitation to businesses within the ACS community. If you would like more information on becoming a sponsor for this event, please contact Katherine Titus @ 720-733-2658 or katitus@comcast.net.

There will be a breakfast provided for the staff next Friday, January 27t. It is our most hospitable way to say thank you to our teachers and staff. If you are able to provide help with a dish, beverage or clean-up help please contact Jackie Radcliffe at 303-663-7498 or Jackie_Radcliffe@msn.com.

The PTO would like to thank Sean Templeton (Sign-In/Sign-Out Committee), Mindy Whitworth (Decorations), and Jackie Radcliffe (Setup/Cleanup Committee) for volunteering to chair a committee for the “Education Expo”. These parents are going to need help, so please contact Misty O’Leary if you can help in any way.

Also, a sincere “Thank You” to Cynthia Heikes, Sherry Hill, Dean Nelson, Barbara Ireland, Anne Belfrage, Carolyn Kouts and Jessica Herbert, for helping the PTO get the “Expo” plans “off and running”.

Be watching for more information regarding the auctioning of the classroom baskets. Baskets will be on display during Parent/Teacher Conferences (March 16th & 17th), and before and after school Monday (March 20th) and Tuesday (March 21st). You will also be able to bid on the baskets during the March 21st PTO General Meeting. Please join us for the meeting and refreshments, while you place your bids. Winners will be announced after the meeting, but you do not have to be present at the meeting to win.
