2004-05 PTO Meetings
All meetings are held in the Music Room
at 6:00pm.
Pizza, drinks, and dessert are provided prior to the meetings.
*Babysitters still needed!

Last General PTO Meeting is scheduled for May 10th @ 6pm. This
will be a voting meeting on the budget for next year as well
as election of new officers. All parents & staff are encouraged
to attend. If you are interested in being on the Board next
year, please contact a current PTO member for details.
Look for Parent/Teacher request forms in upcoming Newsletters.
Things wished for for next year will NEED to be submitted by the
May meeting.

‘A Caribbean Soiree’ SILENT AUCTION!
Date: April 30th, 2005
Time: 4:00pm-Midnight
Place: Kirk Hall in the Douglas County Fairgrounds
Caterer: Todd with Heat of the Moment
Band: our own Bill Flynn with the Shades
Please call Kristi Cal for contacts to follow up with or for new
contacts.
HELP WITH AUCTION
The PTO needs help selling raffle tickets one
hour before and after school. Contact Michelle or Dolores. The
PTO also needs help
making decorations for the auction, setting up and cleaning up.
Some decorations will need to be made Friday during set up. REMEMBER,
IF YOU STILL NEED HOURS, THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO COMPLETE YOUR REQUIREMENTS!
INVITATIONS
Look for your invitation to “A Caribbean Soiree” in
the mail! Seating is limited, so get your tickets early. Raffle
tickets will go on sale prior to the night of the event.
CLASSROOM BASKETS
All baskets should be turned into the office
or a PTO Board member. If you have any questions, please contact
a Board member.
DONATION ITEMS
Come in and see the tiki hut countdown in the front
lobby after Spring Break! While you are in, look up and see some
of the items
that will be available at the auction. You can also view all of
the auction items on the ACS
website.
SUPPORT YOUR TEACHERS
The PTO is suggesting that
each classroom collect $2 per student to purchase tickets for the “Caribbean Soiree” for
their teacher and significant other.

The PTO is in search of volunteers to help with the PTO hosted
dinner on May 4th for the winners of “dinner with your favorite
teacher”.
All parents are welcome to help, this is not just a PTO Board
hosted event. We have 3 volunteers so far, but could use a
total of 8-10.
