Thank you to all who contributed to the Teacher/Staff breakfast
on January 28th. It was a huge success and greatly appreciated.

‘A Caribbean Soiree’ SILENT AUCTION!

Band: our own Bill Flynn with the Shades
DONATIONS needed. Turn them into the front office. We are competing
with other schools for donations. We have a better chance to get
donations if we are the first to ask. All parents are asked to
help and contacts outside of Castle Rock are encouraged as well.
WE ARE STILL IN SEARCH OF A GREAT RAFFLE ITEM like a tropical
vacation or something in line with the auction theme. Any help
would be greatly appreciated. Contact Michelle Fischer or Dolores
Barton if you are able to help.
INFORMATION PACKAGES CAN BE PICKED UP AT THE FRONT DESK
FOR VOLUNTEERS WHO CAN HELP WITH DONATIONS FOR THE AUCTION!! Thank you to all

Skates & Boards is working with ACS PTO in selling
the red embroidered as well as the blue hooded sweatshirts. Please
support your school and local business by purchasing one
today!
Keep your eye out for flyers for Rally Blankets which will be
available for purchase in various colors. New price will be $16.50,
plus $2.00 monogramming fee.
There are still 6 Gold C Books ($10 each) and 5 Entertainment
Books ($22 each) available for purchase. Please check with the
front office if you are interested in purchasing these books.
The
PTO would like to again encourage recognition of "exceptional" teachers
in the following ways: (1) You can nominate an exceptional teacher
through the KYGO and Applebee’s program on their
website KYGO.com; and/or (2) An "Exceptional Teacher Award" will
be announced at a Denver Nuggets game on Friday, April 15th.
This is an excellent opportunity to recognize teachers of exemplary
personal integrity and character, those who mentor and teach
children successfully, develop positive relationships with
parents, colleagues and others within the school community
and serve as
models for life-long learning.

Classroom
Coordinators submit your theme to Heather Fortelka or the Classroom
Basket committee members: Christy Van Bibber
and Kathleen Montgomery. They will let you know if the theme
is still available before you start collecting for it. Please
remember to keep up with the value of your basket and to notify
the committee of the value, for auction purposes.
Thank
you to Jay and Maxine Fullinwider who fixed and resurfaced Mrs.
Solomon’s desk , after it was accidentally damaged
during the Fall Carnival. Mrs. Solomon and the PTO greatly appreciate
your kindness.
Anyone interested in helping organize and run a uniform sale,
please contact Julie Benzel to be added to a list. Julie will
collect the names and get people in contact with each other.
