Kindergarten Newsletter

Date: May 13, 2011

Parent information:

May 20th- Field Day!  Please send: a sack lunch, a water bottle, an extra change of clothes, a towel, and sunscreen. If you’re available come enjoy the fun! The day for us will end at 12:45. Please come to our class door shortly after that to pick up your child. * note this is change from the usual pick up procedure *

May 25th- 9:00-10:00 Kindergarten Graduation

Please note that students should come dressed up for this special occasion. Instead of wearing traditional graduation caps, please interview your child about what they would like to be when they grow up and then create or wear the existing hat that goes with that occupation. For example, if they want to be a professional baseball player, make a baseball cap from scratch or come in an existing baseball cap. Won’t it be fun to see what the children hope to be when they grow up! Please bring your child to the science classroom at 8:30 and then go find a seat in the gym. Don’t forget your cameras. (I’ll bring tissues in case I cry.)
