Welcome to the Academy Charter School Elementary Science Website. You can find fun links for science projects as well as information on what your child will be learning this year. ACS has adopted an exciting new Science curriculum called FOSS that will be implemented in the classroom as well as the Science Lab.

FOSS is a science program that incorporates the new state GLE’s (grade level equivalents) along with hands on activities to guide students into higher level experimentation and inductive reasoning. Below is the grade level curriculum that the FOSS kits provide. You can also link onto the user friendly website www.fossweb.com to find more information about curriculum and links to learning activities.
