Text Box: From the Art Room WOW! The holidays are already upon us! We still need volunteers in the art room, so here is my “holiday list”! I need a model immediately in the morning class – from 8:15 to 9:07, and if you are not available for classroom time, I have two projects that can go home with parents. One is repairing art smocks (you need a sewing machine) and the other is some cut and paste work for lamination. If you have no regular time each week, then I also have an “organizing” project – the picture files are a devastation area. **Parents, we can still use a few more plastic coffee containers – they are really the best for storage, water buckets, and markers. (last year we had a student cut their hand on a metal coffee can and I would LOVE to never have that happen again!) Art club is due to start next week for the elementary levels, and all applications should be in to me by Friday Nov. 21st. We already have enough students to have the club up and running, so there will be no cancellation this year! I am gearing up for the winter show – I still have no “Final dates”, but students and parents will know as soon as I do!
