Student homework will be updated daily.
The assignments listed may change depending on how quickly we are able
to move through the material. We may need
to review longer than anticipated at times and other times we will be able to
move quicker than expected.
Grading: Math grades are calculated by the following:
Cumulative
Tests: 80%
Power
up Tests: 10%
Homework:
10%
Homework: Homework will be assigned Monday through Friday
Students will
still receive 10 points for a completed homework
assignment. A completed assignment will
be a homework assignment along with the corrections to that assignment. I have noticed many students are receiving
low scores and are not going back and make corrections on their homework. This is an important piece of learning math,
and will need to be done to receive all 10 points. I do allow plenty of class time to work on
the corrections and receive help with them, so they should be completed in
class.
Late Work: Late Work will receive 50% off after 1
day late and then 0% after 1 day.
*Homework Grades: Homework will be worth
10 points for each assignment and all work must be shown. A zero indicates that the assignment simply
was not turned in or was turned in more than two days after it was assigned. A
score of 5/10 will indicate a late or incomplete assignment and will be flagged
as such *please see homework policy above*
Absences/Make-Up work: For each day absent, the
student has 2 days to make up the assignment.
