Reading

This week we learned sp,sl,sn blends in class, we did crosswords, racing games and white board activities!!

Math: Due to the Egypt play, we spent some time on facts but didn’t do the regularly scheduled math classes, we will resume after Thanksgiving break.

Core- After break we will be studding the three monotheistic religions, which include Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

Writing:

This week we did work with poetry and writing an imaginative story. They had a lot of fun just free writing using their imaginations.

Box Tops-

Remember we receive money for box tops, it is easy and a great way to help the school.

Field Trip

Thanks for all the help this week with the field trip!! That was a great day and thanks to all of you the kids had a wonderful experience!!

Congratulations to Mrs. Fortleka’s class for winning the “Battle of the Bus”!! All classes did a Super Job!!!

VERY IMPORTANT NEWS January TEST DAY HAS BEEN SWITCHED TO January 9^TH NOT THE 16^TH. We will put out signup sheets outside our doors when we get closer to this date.

 Notes from the office!!!

New on IC is the lunch account balance section. When you go to your child’s portal you will see a section for you to click on and it directs you to your child’s balance.

We need to remind you all of some dress code issues. Girls and boys can only wear snow boots to school if they have a change of shoes. We cannot allow them to wear any kind of boot in the school throughout the school day. This all so includes the girls “Fashion Boots” . They also may only wear navy blue or white tights or socks. Flesh colored, red, or bright colored tights are not allowed. Please refer to your parent handbook for further questions.

Please look in your Friday folder for a permission slips to watch the “Prince of Egypt “movie. Your child may not be allowed to watch the movie without a signed permission slip. We will be watching the movie on Tuesday.
